Alfa-Bank was the largest creditor group, it issued to "Kopernik" $ 185 million. Mr Senatorov gave a personal guarantee on that debt. A year ago, the bank wrote off part of the debt after he had taken a business center on the Red Presnya (15 thousand square meters), "Northern Lights" on the Pravda streets (37.8 thousand square meters) and about 6 thousand square meters in the house "Kopernik." according to expert estimates, Alfa bank earned $ 155 million for the sale of two business centers. “According to our calculations, the current debt owed to the bank is about $ 80 million, taking into account all interests and penalties," Mr. Tsanava says. Alexander Krasavin insists on $ 30 million, he said that negotiations for the settlement of the remaining debt to Alfa-Bank were suspended on the initiative of "Kopernik."

a Source from Mr. Senatorov’s entourage said that the arrested funds had been issued to the businessman by VTB 24 in the form of a loan for personal needs, and the possession recorded in the court materials (except for off-road buggy) is the collateral for the loan. VTB 24 declined to comment on the loan. According to the interlocutor of Kommersant, "Intermontazhkompleks" and "Accept Plus" are technology companies. "Technopolis Project" owned 99.9% of ZAO MIAN-Development, in which arbitration established a procedure of observation in May. Mr Krasavin said that the group owner intends to challenge the decision to arrest the property in court.

Alexander Senatorov is not the only developer, whose personal belongings are attempted to be arrested by the creditors. In June, at the request of Nomos-bank the court seized two apartments in Moscow belonging to the founder of GC “PIK” - Yuri Zhukov in the debt of $ 271.4 million. "In a crisis such measure like a debt recovery has become effective, as the borrower - legal entity may declare bankruptcy and escape retribution", the lawyer of the Moscow Regional Bar Association Denis Uzoykin notes.
